Usually I don’t like taking about myself but I guess this is the right space to let loose! There are three things I love in this world and you’re probably expecting me to say photography is my number one love. In fact, photography has always been my second favourite thing, number one is my addiction to chocolate. I love the stuff and could eat it all day long. The third passion is my love for life. I know, totally corny but, after 22 years of life or death medical treatment, due to a complex genetic anaemia, I’ve really come to appreciate the importance of making the most of every day. I’ll pretty much do anything that comes my way, no matter what hindrances lay ahead. I strongly believe that you can live life by these four words….NO RISK NO REWARD! I have applied this to just about everything to date and have few regrets.

Growing up on a farm in Western Victoria has given my life perspective and strength. Only now that I live in the city, can I really appreciate my childhood on the land. I wouldn’t trade that for all the chocolate in the world. Some of my achievements to date include, hiking the Kokoda Trail, Young Citizen of the Year, School Captain and VCE achiever of the month. I am currently finishing my specialization year at Photography Studies College in Melbourne and growing my business John Wilson Photographic or 'JWP'.
